BEVERLY HILLS, California -- The Pacquiao-Mosley media blitz has begun.
Manny Pacquiao and Sugar Shane Mosley met with the press in Beverly Hills California Thursday afternoon to discuss their May 7 Las Vegas fight.

Tickets for the MGM Grand are already sold out.

The promotional tour will bring them to Las Vegas and New York next week.
One of the most anticipated stops is the nation's capital.

Pacquiao will visit the US Senate and meet with Nevada Senator Harry Reid, whom he campaigned for last November.

The possible meeting with President Barack Obama is still not yet finalized. Team Pacquiao is expecting an answer any minute.

In Washington D.C., he will also appear on ESPN's “Pardon the Interruption” show and visit the USA Today building.

“I don't know yet, it's [Obama courtesy call] an honor for us if we're invited. Kung matutuloy, pasalamat tayo,” said Pacquiao.

For the first time, wife Jinkee will travel with Pacquiao during the press tour. She also plans to be by his side if the meeting with President Obama pushes through.

She also has plans to meet privately with TV hosts Ellen DeGeneres and Jimmy Kimmel on Friday to discuss future appearances.

“Si Manny siguro mag prepare what he'll say… I'm so happy and excited. Tomorrow, my schedule is to meet with Jimmy Kimmel and Ellen. Matagal ko nang gusto silang makita. Parang it's a dream come true,” said Jinkee.

Also being considered is an appearance in next week's National Basketball Association (NBA) All-Star weekend in Los Angeles.

Pacquiao may play in the Celebrity All-Star game.

Friend Jimmy Kimmel may also play as well as teen idol Justin Bieber, with whom many are comparing the Pacman's new hairstyle.

With Pacquiao doing the meet and greets, “Sugar” Shane Mosley is out to silence critics who say he's too old to fight and possibly washed up.

Mosley has been wanting to fight Pacquiao since the pound-for-pound king's sensational knock out against Ricky Hatton.

“I think it's (the fight) a good thing. I think the fans, the boxing world, everyone is going to benefit, it's going to be good fight,” said Mosley.

Pacquiao and Mosley will go their separate ways after the New York appearance.

Mosley will head to Connecticut to promote the fight on ESPN while the Pacquiaos will take a train to Washington hopefully with a meeting with President Obama.
